Ivan M Njuba
Fr. Patrick Kizza
Rodrick Purves – Chairperson
I am the coordinator/chairperson of the (NGUF). I am a retired boat Captain of the US Navy and now a business owner and Life long Catholic. I have decided to join in with Fr Patric Yiga, and Ivan M Njuba’s vision and mission. For I shall be forever reminded! That the needs of humanity are great yet the workers for the Kingdom of God are few! I choose to be found as a disciple Mind body and soul.
I am retired US navy showing me over a large span of time fighting I have become uniquely aware of the desperate needs the children, and citizens of Uganda suffer. Serving in the area during deployments from 1979 until currently working Oceanographic research ships globally. I am a US native, USN Military Sailor. Loving God while holding a firm, and great faith I remain very optimistic! After having to fight and winning many battles and wars! Now its time to return offering the much-needed help for all the people that have suffered. Leaving behind to many orphanages, and suffering families.
I can see a much better world with your hearts, and help united we can begin bringing these lovely families the much need supplies, and educational needs and supplies so desperately needed to become a Global society. Helping all people to have dignity which hard work has to offer to build inter-family dignity then dignity to great faith. With greater faith bring Love unity and peace. This reality however fragile is, and will become the only reality.
Ivan M. Njuba – Treasurer
My name is Ivan M. Njuba. I am the treasurer of Never Give Up Foundation (NGUF). I am a Registered Professional Nurse with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Chicago, Illinois. I am a U.S. citizen who was born in the East African nation of Uganda. I, Father Patrick, and Rodrick as the chairperson started this foundation at the end of 2019. The two of us understand that Ugandans, just like the rest of the developing economies, face many challenges. I am also optimistic, however, that in an ever-changing world with new and emerging health and social issues, providing educational opportunities to the underprivileged will go a long way to make the world a better place. I hope you will join us and consider donating to a great cause. Thank you.
Fr. Patrick Y. Kizza – Spiritual Director
I am Fr. Patrick Y. Kizza from the Archdiocese of Chicago. I was born and raised in Uganda. Uganda is one of the developing countries on the planet, so there is a lot of need to develop in all aspects of life but more especially education.
I was approached by Mr. Njuba to be a spiritual leader of Never Give Up Foundation since we had the same background. I was thrilled to be part of the foundation. I felt moved to support the marginalized like orphans and the poor people in Uganda since I had the same experience when I was growing up. Immediately, I adopted four seminarians and two grade school children. It was a blessing for me.
My prayer to the foundation is to find donors and sponsors to help seminarians and needy children at all levels, especially those who feel that their dreams might not be fulfilled due to financial constraints.
